In celebration of our beautiful country, the {company} team will out of the office on Wednesday, July 1st.

Celebrating the July 1st, 1867 enactment of the British North America Act, Canada Day has been celebrated for nearly 60 years – though it was originally called Dominion Day. Each year we observe this day, which is traditionally referred to as Canada’s birthday, to celebrate our freedom, independence, and all that our beautiful country has to offer.

Because of it’s relation to our Confederation, July 1st has been chosen as the date for a number of landmark Canadian events, including:
Governor General Vincent Massey’s Dominion Day speech at Parliament Hill (1958)

The flooding of the Saint Lawrence Seaway (1958)

The first color television transmission in Canada (1966)

The establishment of “O Canada” as our national anthem (1980)

We hope that you take the day to relax, enjoy, and reflect upon our country and the freedom and opportunity that it awards us as citizens. Should you need any emergency assistance, clients with support agreements can reach out to us at {email} or {phone}.

Thank you,
The {company} Team
